This is the smallest and most westerly of the islands of the archipelago. It is triangular in shape and the coasts are mainly cliffs. With a surface area of 278km2 and just over 7,000 inhabitants, this is the perfect place for those you want to be in touch with nature. El Hierro is the ideal place to get away from it all.
