Fuerteventura

No Ilhas Canarias é sexta-feira, 9 de janeiro de 2009, :00 hora

Fuerteventura is the Second largest Canary Island after Tenerife. It is the longest Island in the archipelago at 98km from north to south. With its unforgiving barren and arid interior the island is very similar to its African neighbours of Morocco and the Western Sahara; this includes the sparse rainfall, rocky-desert landscapes, and simple flat-roofed white-washed villages. The Island has over 50km of sandy beaches, this explain the reason for Fuerteventura being most famous for its beaches. So if your looking for a beach break then look no further then those miles of sandy beaches for the getaway, even in peak season you should be able to find a relatively secluded spot for yourself.
